About Beckons Organic Yoga Clothing

At Beckons®, we are passionate about creating dynamic, comfortable, eco friendly yoga and pilates lifestyle clothing for active women and men. From the novice yogi to the serious practitioner, Beckons addresses the needs of various body styles and activity levels. We love making fresh fashionable pieces that are as comfortable as they are stylish, as easily wearable in yoga practice as they are in every day life.
We take the yogic philosophy of kindness to the planet very seriously, and use only organic cotton and sustainable fibers in our eco clothing. Our commitment to the triple bottom line, where profit is equally as important as our impact on the planet and it's people, is an every day practice. Beckons is an official member of the Green Business Network and Organic Trade Association. Beckons partners with local manufacturers, using a production facility that is located in Denver, Colorado, the same city as company owner and designer, Becky Prater.
Why should buying organic be important to you? Simple. It's the right choice for the planet. As a small business that could easily do it cheaper, we choose all organic, sustainable materials because it supports the type of green business practices we believe in. It also makes a huge difference in the quality, comfort and durability of our clothing.
After four years of being in business, Beckons continues to be inspired by the concept that sparked our very first piece of organic clothing—the yogic lifestyle. In fact, each piece of our eco friendly clothing has an intention tag with a single characteristic that embodies that way of life: joy, strength, wisdom, grace, love, courage, peace, balance, and integrity.
This idea was inspired by Masaru Emoto's water research about the power of words, and we believe it transforms Beckons clothing into a living, breathing affirmation you wear all day long. In fact, it's the inspiration behind the Beckons line—intend. wear. become. This mantra continues to guide us in creating our staple best-sellers and fresh new pieces.
